Switching your photography CRM without losing anything
The reason most photographers stay on a CRM they dislike is the move. Done in the right order it is two evenings, not a lost weekend.
The order that works
- Export contacts and projects from the old tool as CSV.
- Import them into the new one and check five projects by hand.
- Paste your email and contract templates as text. Let the assistant fill details per project from now on.
- Connect Stripe, Gmail and Google Calendar.
- Leave invoices already in flight on the old tool until they are paid. Start new ones on the new tool.
- Run both for two weeks. Cancel the old one when the last in-flight invoice clears.
In Phlostate
The import takes a CSV and maps the columns for you. Phlo walks you through setup from day one, and during the trial you can ask for help moving over. Nothing is charged for fourteen days, which is long enough to do the overlap.
Questions
- What about signed contracts on the old tool?
- Download the PDFs and attach them to the matching project. You do not need clients to re-sign.
Try it on your own business
Fourteen days free with a card on file. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then from Settings.
